The aim of this project was to develop a comprehensive and accessible outreach and public engagement e-repository. The e-repository aims to compile the public engagement and outreach activities as well as provide information on resources developed and/or offered by staff and students of the Medical School.

On this platform, you can find description of activities and their intended audiences, resources, staff or students involved, and curating of accessibility of online resources for outreach. We are hopeful that this platform will facilitate collaboration within and beyond the Medical School. Flo Avery

Flo Avery is a PhD student based in Health Data Science at Swansea University. Her research area concerns looking at childhood trauma and adversity from a public health perspective. She is passionate about involving and engaging young people in research which affects them, through coproduction anf outreach. Dr Geertje Van Keulen

Geertje Van Keulen is Associate Professor in Microbial Biochemistry in the Institute of Life Science at Swansea University. She is also the outreach champion for Swansea University Medical School. Geertje furthermore collaborates with hundreds of women in STEMM, especially through the public engagement and gender equality activities that she leads through Soapbox Science Swansea.
